DRAWING PORTRAITS, CAPTURING EYES & FACES
Come and join us for a series of creative drawing sessions. Your teacher Jan will support you in learning to decipher the proportions of a face and how to tackle drawing eyes from different angles.

Monday 8th March – 1pm & 6:30pm
Drawing Front Facing Portraits – Shadow & Texture – Download the reference images
In this session you’ll learning how to map out the portrait of a person who is facing front on. Jan will teach you to draw eyes effectively and you will explore shadow and texture as you build up your portraits.
Monday 15th March – 1pm & 6:30pm
Drawing Eyes & Three-Quarter Facing Portraits – Contrast & Comparison – Download the reference images
This class will teach you to move from drawing a face front-on, to a three-quarter view. You will explore drawing eyes from different angles and learn to capture a portrait from a new view point.
Monday 22nd March – 1pm & 6:30pm

In this session you will explore both front-facing and three-quarter portraits. Your teacher Jan will help you to understand the proportions of a face and how to position features accurately.
