Drawing Animals – Composition & Texture

Monday 18th October

Three time slots available (BST):

  • 07:00 – 08:00
  • 12:00 – 13:00
  • 17:00 – 18:00

Join us in learning to draw animals. Perfect for all levels, this class will teach you how to break your subject down into simple shapes. You’ll go on safari, starting with an expressive sheep, before moving onto capture the curves of a flamingo and the majesty of a tiger. This is a completely immersive opportunity to begin or progress in drawing.

Taking the time to engage in an hour of creativity has been shown to decrease cortisol levels and can leave you in a more relaxed state. It’s also a powerful memory booster, an effective reset and this session is a great way to enhance your confidence in your creative abilities.

You don’t need any previous experience to take part. Don’t forget to print or download your reference images ahead of the class. You can print these for reference during your session, view them on another device or the device on which you are joining the class.

At the end of your class, email us a photo of your favourite drawing for a chance to win a set of drawing pencils! Send your drawings to:

Kennedys Community Art Gallery

Thank you to everyone for sharing your art from the session.
